…our sweet Eliana Grace. She joined our family on March 25 (38 weeks along) at 10:30pm after, oh yes, 78 hours of labor and a healthy natural delivery. She arrived weighing 9lbs and a surprising amount of dark brown hair. We are already so smitten and Aleksa is as well! I’ll be on maternity leave through mid-May and will answer emails and inquires as time allows. I’ll also work on her birth story and may share that as well. But for now we are enjoying our new squishy little bundle of joy!
Now 37 weeks along and Aleksa is almost 16 months. Our precious little girl will be here soon! I’m anticipating “any day now” since Aleksa arrived at 37 weeks. But this little girl might have her own timeframe, so we’ll see! Nursery isn’t finished yet but I am packed and ready to go! This has been a very different pregnancy from Aleksa’s. Much tougher than I expected. Aleksa’s was so easy, I felt great during most of the pregnancy and worked, photographing sessions all the way up to the end (it was walking during a session that threw me into labor!) This pregnancy, I’ve had to take things much slower, and stop taking on sessions during the final part of this third trimester. Along with the normal pregnancy woes of tiredness and heartburn, sciatica and joint pain has really kicked me down. And carrying a crawling toddler everywhere hasn’t been easy. Needless to say, we are all anxious for this little girl to arrive! We can’t wait to meet her!
Baby Ethan is here! And Jakey is already so smitten with his little brother; talking sweetly, watching over him and curiously inspecting his tiny toes. But I think Jakey may be a little anxious for Ethan to grow up so they can play trucks together. They’re going to be best buds!
Katie and Kevin are about to welcome their second little boy, Ethan in just a few weeks. Big brother Jakey can’t wait to play with his little brother “Effan.” Always giving sweet kisses and talking to his mommy’s tummy, “Hello baby Effan! Do you want to play trucks?” It’s so precious to see his excitement!
It was really hard to contain my excitement when Leah and Ben chose me as their photographer. Newborn twin boys! My dad has a twin brother so I was over the moon at the chance to photograph these precious baby boys. Thomas and Isaac arrived about a month early, weighing only 4lb 13 oz and 4lb 15 oz! So tiny and sweet, they were so wonderful to work with and I’m thrilled with how the photos turned out.
I know I have told you many times, but these pictures are amazing! You did such a beautiful job capturing our boys’ little personalities (which are still in place at four months old!). You were so patient and nurturing with our little guys and I can’t thank you enough for these beautiful memories! You are the best =).ReplyCancel
