In January 2011, I was honored to assist Jen & Clay’s wedding photographer, Dave, during their big day. I had never met them, but I walked away from their wedding feeling so blessed! The incredible ceremony was officiated by Clay’s dad which made it so sentimental. Everything was beautiful, inspiring, God honoring, and I remember feeling very silly that I was tearing up and didn’t know them! And the reception was so much fun, it made me wish I was there as a guest so I could be out on the dance floor with them!
About a year later, I had the chance to meet them again, and they’ve been friends of mine ever since! So fun that I got to be a part of their day and now know them as their sweet family is growing.
We decided the best place to have their photo session would be at WhiteHall Manor, where their wedding reception was held. Gorgeous sunlight, beautiful family and precious little boy makes for a perfect session!
